Donations are charged via Scotiabank (JMD) or Stripe (USD) using the same secure pipeline that handles event bookings.
Tek a Hike holds the funds in a restricted account named conservation_holdings and remits to the chosen cause monthly.
We do not take a platform cut on donations — only the third-party gateway fee on your transaction is deducted.
Tek a Hike is not yet a registered Jamaican charity, so receipts are confirmation-only (not tax-deductible). We're working on registration.
