Combined marine and terrestrial protected area covering the Negril coral reef (one of Jamaica's healthiest remaining reef systems), the Great Morass (a 1,400-acre freshwater wetland behind Seven-Mile Beach), and associated mangroves. The Great Morass is an Important Bird Area supporting nesting herons, egrets, and migratory waterfowl.
