Gentle trail from the historic Bath Botanical Garden — established 1779, among the oldest in the western hemisphere — up through riparian forest to the sulphur-and-limestone hot springs. The spring water emerges at ~50°C and has been celebrated for therapeutic skin properties since the 17th century. The town of Bath was once a fashionable resort for British colonial planters.
